Payments

There are No hidden charges when you make a purchase of any Germanic-Fort Deccan websites.

In case of payment failure:

Please retry making the payment after ensuring that the information entered is accurate, including all account details, billing addresses and passwords. If your payment still fails, you can use the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment option. If your payment is debited from your account after a payment failure, it will be credited back within 7-10 business days, after we receive a confirmation from the bank.

If the amount isn’t credited back in the given time, please raise your concern at fortdeccan@gmail.com.

Shipping & Delivery

Domestic

Standard shipping rates apply. The final shipping and handling charges can be seen at checkout after providing the shipping address.

For standard deliveries, your order will be delivered to you within 3-10 business days.

For pre-ordered or customized products, shipping timelines may vary and will be directly communicated to you by our support team.

International

Shipping and handling rates vary based on the product size and volume, the packaging required and the shipping destination. The final shipping and handling charges can be seen at checkout after providing the shipping address

Duties & Taxes for international orders are not included in your order and are applicable over and above the shipping charges paid at checkout.

The deliveries are dispatched to the shipping address recorded at checkout.

Most countries charge duties on imported items which are levied at the time of port entry, and they vary based on the destination country and the products imported.

Customers would need to pay the applicable duties and taxes directly to the shipping agency at the time of order delivery. If a customer refuses to pay these charges and therefore delivery is not possible, no refunds will be entertained.

For standard deliveries, your order will be delivered to you within 12-15 business days.

For pre ordered or customized products, shipping timelines may vary and will be directly communicated to you by our support team.

International orders are not eligible for exchange/returns.

Order Tracking

You will receive a tracking number from our logistics partner once we ship your order.

Saturdays, Sundays & public holidays are not counted as business days for standard deliveries.

Cancellations

You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, when it is in packed status before it gets shipped.

Any amount paid will be credited into the same payment mode using which the payment was made, within 5-7 business days after placing the request.

COD (Cash on delivery) orders are not eligible for cancellation

We will not charge you any cancellation fee for orders cancelled within 24 hours after placing the order.

Refund

Before you return a Fort Deccan product, please take a moment to understand how our products are made. All our products are meticulously handcrafted keeping the perspective of Art in mind resulting in each product being unique, slightly different from each other and varying marginally from the images appearing on our website.

We believe variations are the beauty of handmade products & this is what makes them unique. Imperfections / irregularities in the product cannot be termed as defects, as these are intrinsic to the hand craft process. Returns on the basis of such queries will not be entertained. We request you to check the product details thoroughly before buying any product. The products(plants) are living forms & need special care and judgement of horticulture. Kindly follow the care instructions mentioned to increase the longevity of the live specimens.

In order to maintain fairness to our artisans and craftsmen, as well as to keep our prices fair, we accept returns only for damaged/defective products.

If a customer requests a refund then they should send the product back to us at our Warehouse address and we will refund if the received product is in good condition.

In such cases, kindly raise a complaint with the clear pictures of the defective area/s within 48 hours of receiving the product to fortdeccan@gmail.com.

Upon receipt of the product at our warehouse, it will be subject to quality inspection and if it passes the inspection, a fresh piece will be dispatched to reach you within standard shipping timelines.

Given the nature of our products, we reserve the sole decision of considering the eligibility of returns.

Please mention your order number in the subject line to help us quickly process your returns.

Please ensure that the returned merchandise is undamaged and is in its original condition.

Customized products or special bulk orders are not eligible for returns or exchange.

Exchanges

We offer size exchanges only for the same product, style, that you have purchased. Colors & sizes of living sculptures may vary.

Contact us on fortdeccan@gmail.com to schedule a reverse pick-up within 48 hours of delivery of the product and we will initiate your exchange request.

Please ensure that the product is unused, and the original tags are intact.

In case the required size is not in stock, we will provide you a refund (after deducting the applicable shipping charges).

International orders are not eligible for exchange/returns.

Customized products or special bulk orders are not eligible for returns or exchange.

Photography

The photography is available in print-with glass frame and in soft copies as per requirement.
